The office of Public Works oversees, coordinates and administers the various departments of the Division of Public Works and provide 24-hour response for all Public Works related emergency and non-emergency services. These services include water, wastewater, streets, drainage, parks, animal control, code enforcement, capital improvement programs and provide maintenance to City-owned buildings and vehicles.
The Director and staff strive to provide leadership and the necessary support for successful completion of capital improvements and the ongoing operation and maintenance of the City’s infrastructure.

Office Hours
To report emergencies such as water leaks, sewer stoppage, animal control or street related emergencies during normal working hours (7:00 to 4:00 Monday through Friday) call the Public Works Office at (281) 446-2327 When reporting an emergency, please provide your name, address, phone number and a brief explanation of the nature of the emergency
After Hours
To report emergencies after normal working hours or on weekends and holidays, call (281) 446-7127 to reach the Humble Police Department which will contact the appropriate Public Works “on call” personnel.
